Here is another beautiful film I randomly found on vimeo. Great cinematography.  Warning: Hide your passport. You will be filled with a strong desire to travel.

Sorry, no updates in a while..I’ve spending a lot of time in class and doing homework. Also, I’m hoping to design a new blog soon through my own domain. In the meantime, I’ll post a few pictures from our summer.

We stopped at a driving range on the way home, somewhere in the middle of wisconsin

Reasons to become a teacher…

There’s this.

And at my school, there’s often this.

But one of the best reasons to become a teacher is this…

Spring Break.

Last week, I went up to the north shore of Superior with my two dear friends

Heidi.

and

Jen.

We shivered our way through the first night of camping, but it only got warmer from there, ending in a freak 80-degree and sunny April 1st. Since most Minnesotans plan for snow that early in April, we found ourselves largely and wonderfully alone at the campsites and as we hiked. We saw alot of waterfalls,

and a little bit of shoreline,

and no bears!

The three of us returned home, smelly and sooty, to our respective husbands…

and this is how we felt about seeing them after 4 long days apart…
