These are some photos from a recent 1920’s-themed party at our home. The idea was born soon after Liz found a book published in the early 1920’s called 255 Parlor Games. We thought it would be fun to do something a little different for her birthday this year. So we found some appropriate attire from a  few vintage clothing stores, put on some old jazz music, and had a lovely night of raucous 1920’s parlor games.  The evening began with a wonderful meal made by Liz. It was a delicious pork roast and raspberry sauce with mashed potatoes and green beans. The evening ended with gigantic peanut butter pretzel brownies and apple crisp.

Daniel showing off his acting skills in a charades-like game that the parlor games book called "Dumb Crambo." Josh was impressed.

Sarah traversing through an invisible obstacle course. Yay parlor games.
